There are two important exterior displays at Sullivan Roadhouse Historical Museum. A large garden was essential for roadhouses. Built along trails and roads far from supply shipments of perishable goods, they relied on a growing season of long sun exposure during the brief summer. Local residents keep the flowers and vegetables flourishing. Flowers on the table with a nourishing meal!
