AlCan ~ Dawson Creek BC ~ Area

Dawson Creek runs through a series of parks, parallel to and south of the Alaska Hwy. The string of parks starts near the Dawson Creek Mall, on BC Hwy 2 (8th St.) and angles northwest to Rotary Lake, near Pioneer Village. The trail crosses the creek in Chamberlain Park in these photos - #5 on the map section, right. Drive out of town on any highway and you will be greeted by canola fields to brighten a gloomy day.
