Johnson's Crossing Lodge, one of the first on the AlCan (1949) was established on the west side of the Teslin River, 33 miles northwest of Teslin. An information panel in front of the lodge explains its role in oil development in this part of Yukon Territory. The lodge has all amenities for travelers including a good aspen shaded campground.
