The Marsh Lake Dam Rest Area, top left, is a good spot to view the head of the Yukon River. The dam is down river. From here, the Yukon flows 2,000 miles through Yukon Territory and Alaska to the Bering Sea. Countless rivers and streams add their flows into it along its course.
