information panel tells Toad River Lodge's story. It sits at the foot
of the Northern Rockies, in the Toad River Valley, at mile 404.6.
- mile 422 before the AlCan was straightened. It includes all amenities
a traveler would want. The Toad River airstrip, across highway is
3,000 ft. long, but there are no services. Permission to land is necessary.
There are many historical lodges and roadhouses along the AlCan and
other highways in Canada and Alaska. |
