Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge spreads over 7,000 acres bordered
on the south by Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, in Alaska, and
Kluane National Park to the southeast, across the border in Canada.
The area is home to Upper Tanana Athabascans, whose cultural exhibits
are on display in the visitor center. The center is on the south
side of the AlCan, 7 miles north of the AK/YT border. The Chisana
River Valley with its many rivers and lakes, from the expansive
south deck of the visitor center, right. Many information panels
are here too.
